SCB 10X Co., Ltd., a subsidiary under the SCBX Group focused on transformative technology investments, has announced the appointment of Kawiwut Temphuwapat as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 16, 2025. Kawiwut will be tasked with leading SCB 10X into its next phase of exponential growth, while continuing to invest in cutting-edge global technologies and drive innovation within the organization. Currently, SCB 10X manages and invests over USD 600 million in assets globally.
In addition to his new role, Kawiwut also serves as Chief Innovation Officer at SCB X Public Company Limited, the parent firm of the SCBX Group. This dual role will enhance the strategic alignment between SCBX's long-term innovation vision and SCB 10X's investment initiatives, boosting innovation capabilities, accelerating outcomes, and strengthening SCBX’s competitive edge.
For over a decade before becoming CEO of SCB 10X, Kawiwut accumulated extensive experience and expertise in innovation, new business development, fostering an innovation-driven culture, and managing venture capital funds in top-tier organizations, including both SCBX and the energy sector.
Kawiwut holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with First-Class Honors from Chulalongkorn University and an MBA from Stanford University, where he also gained broad experience from the Stanford d.school.
