Dr. Atthaporn Limpanyalert, Deputy Secretary-General and spokesperson of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), announced on January 5, 2025, that applications are now open for candidates to become the new NHSO Secretary-General. The current Secretary-General's term will conclude on April 2, 2025.

The selection committee has outlined three methods for application submission:

  1. In-Person Submission: Applicants must download the application form from the NHSO website and submit it, along with required documents, at the NHSO office in Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok, during business hours.
  2. Online Submission: Completed applications and supporting documents can be sent via email to [email protected] 24/7 until the deadline.
  3. Postal Submission: Applications can be sent via registered mail, with the postmark serving as proof of submission.

Applications are open from January 6–20, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must:

  • Be Thai nationals under 60 years of age.
  • Possess relevant qualifications and experience beneficial to NHSO’s leadership.
  • Be free of affiliations with political parties or government positions.
  • Not have a history of bankruptcy, criminal convictions, or dismissal for corruption.

The selection committee will evaluate applicants based on qualifications, vision, and administrative plans. Qualified candidates will be announced on January 24, 2025, via the NHSO website. Interviews and presentations are scheduled for January 31, 2025. The final shortlist of up to three candidates will be submitted for board approval on the same day.
