At 1:00 PM on December 24, at Government House, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, outlined the Prime Minister's directives to ensure public safety and convenience during the New Year holidays. Ministries and related agencies have been tasked with managing transportation across roads, railways, and airways. The Prime Minister plans to visit a traffic command center on Thursday afternoon and has instructed the Defense Ministry to mobilize military units at public service points to facilitate travel starting Saturday, December 28.
The Ministry of Transport has arranged additional initiatives, including musical activities at Bangkok Apiwat Railway Station and enhanced traffic management on major routes, aiming to minimize accidents. Furthermore, the Prime Minister emphasized strict enforcement of the "Don’t Drink and Drive" campaign by the Royal Thai Police. The Ministry of Public Health has also set up medical service points to support travelers.
