The Tak Provincial Administrative Organization announced unofficial election results at 2:15 AM on December 16, 2024. Candidate No. 1, Mrs. Ajchara Taweekeukoonkit, secured 98,601 votes, defeating Candidate No. 2, Pol. Lt. Col. Anurak Jirajit, who received 88,827 votes.
Mrs. Ajchara, known as “Deputy Joy,” is the former deputy chief of the Tak Provincial Administrative Organization. She is also the wife of Mr. Thanat Taweekeukoonkit, a former MP for Tak, and the daughter-in-law of Mr. Natthawut Taweekeukoonkit, the former Tak PAO chief who recently resigned from the position.
