Chatchai “Coach Chae” Che, head coach of Thailand’s national taekwondo team, has been appointed advisor to the President of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council. His role includes integrating taekwondo into Bangkok's education system and providing youth with access to Olympic-level coaching.
Suranit Pongsingwittaya, President of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council, and Sing Limphirat, Director of the Office of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, held discussions to promote taekwondo among Bangkok’s youth. The initiative includes introducing taekwondo training for students and professional development courses for sports instructors to enhance coaching methods and youth athletic skills.
Suranit emphasized the council's commitment by announcing on his Facebook page that Coach Chae will lead efforts to bring taekwondo into schools, providing children with opportunities to train under world-class coaches.
