On December 13, Phakamon Nunanan, list MP and deputy spokesperson for the People's Party, criticized the government's response to opposition leader Natthapong Ruangpanyawut’s evaluation of its 90-day performance. Phakamon stated that the opposition's critique is a fundamental right and questioned why MPs and the public would be discouraged from questioning the government’s actions.
She also addressed comments suggesting opposition leaders should self-evaluate first, responding sharply by asking whether party members are truly satisfied with the prime minister’s performance if the leader were not the heir of the party founder.
Phakamon emphasized the importance of accountability and transparency, asserting that opposition scrutiny is essential to democratic governance and public interest.
