On December 10, Sawang Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT), provided an update on the investigation into allegations regarding the educational qualifications of Senator Keskomon Pliensamai. Sawang confirmed that the ECT has completed its evidence compilation and will soon present the case for review in an upcoming commission meeting.

The ECT emphasized its commitment to ensuring fairness by considering evidence from both the petitioner and its independent investigations. The outcome will depend on the evidence submitted in the case file.

Sawang also addressed other complaints, such as alleged election collusion, which require deeper scrutiny of personal connections and financial trails. He noted that such investigations involve scientific evidence and have been prioritized for expedited processing.
