The ministry has completed the necessary preparations, including robust support systems, to ensure smooth implementation. Public awareness campaigns have also been conducted to inform citizens about the new law and registration procedures.

Ms. Teerarat emphasized that this milestone marks significant progress in promoting equality and embracing diversity in Thai society. She congratulated all couples who will soon be able to legally register their unions under the new law, highlighting this step as a major advancement in societal acceptance and inclusion. She also extended her best wishes to couples embarking on their journey under this new legal framework.
