The Thai Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has announced a special program through the Office of Social Pawnshop (TAN). Starting from December 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025, individuals can pawn items with a principal loan amount not exceeding 5,000 baht and enjoy a one-month interest-free period. This initiative, described as a "social pawnshop" service, aims to ease financial burdens for citizens during the holiday and early-year period.
Each loan ticket is eligible for one interest-free cycle, with more details available by contacting the TAN headquarters at 02-281-5888 or visiting any local TAN branch.
