Pattani province continues to face escalating floodwaters, with levels rising steadily due to heavy rainfall and tidal surges. Four hospitals—Nong Chik, Yaring, Thung Yang Daeng, and Mae Lan—situated near the Pattani and Saiburi Rivers, have been temporarily closed after becoming inundated. Patients have been evacuated to field hospitals set up to provide care, while medical teams are conducting home visits for those unable to travel.

According to Dr. Anurak Saraphap, Director of Pattani Public Health, the situation remains critical, with flooding affecting seven districts near the rivers. In Pattani Municipality, the economic hub of the province, water levels have risen by 10 centimeters in the past day, forcing shops to remain closed for a third consecutive day. Local residents are stockpiling supplies amid uncertainty about the duration of the floods, which could persist if additional runoff from Yala province compounds the situation.

Authorities are maintaining 24-hour monitoring and have urged vigilance in light of the worsening crisis.
