At 2:10 PM on November 15, police in Surat Thani were alerted to a passenger van accident on Highway 44 near Paolo Circuit in Thung Rang Subdistrict, Kanchanadit District. The van, carrying teachers and students, overturned, leaving 11 injured. Emergency responders found the van in a roadside ditch, heavily damaged, with nine students suffering minor injuries and two teachers trapped inside.

Rescue teams worked for over 30 minutes to free the teachers, who were later taken to Surat Thani Hospital along with the students. Preliminary investigations revealed that the van was transporting Grade 7 students from Thida Mae Phra School, Krabi, back from a camp in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The accident occurred when the van lost control. Authorities are investigating the cause.
