The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has issued a one-year suspension to Thai wheelchair racing athlete Prawat Wahoram for failing to comply with doping tests over the past year. Prawat responded publicly, explaining that he has never used banned substances, emphasizing his commitment to fair competition throughout his 25-year career.

In his Facebook post, Prawat clarified the circumstances, accepting responsibility for missing three tests. He admitted that two absences were due to oversight by himself and his family. The third missed test, he said, was due to a registration system error, which the IPC acknowledged. Prawat expressed deep disappointment, stating that he had prepared extensively for the 2024 Paralympic Games in France and remains dedicated to representing Thailand.
