On November 11, Chiang Mai experienced cool weather with thick fog from morning to evening. In the city, temperatures ranged from a low of 19°C to a high of 30°C, accompanied by mild sunshine and strong winds. Conditions were colder in the mountainous areas, especially at Doi Inthanon in Chom Thong District, where temperatures dropped to 6°C, creating heavy fog and dew. Kiew Mae Pan viewpoint offered clear skies with a scenic sea of mist and a low of 8°C. The main area of Doi Inthanon National Park recorded 12°C, attracting nearly 6,000 visitors over the weekend, double the usual number.
According to Park Chief Kriengkrai Chaiya-Piset, now is an ideal time for tourists to enjoy the natural beauty in cool weather, though he advised caution when driving up the mountain due to wet and foggy roads.
