On November 8, Deputy Commander Police Colonel Somchai Theerapatpaisan conducted a safety inspection at the Wat Arun tourism community in Bangkok, aligning with the Tourism Police Bureau's directive to enhance visitor security during the high season. Accompanied by local officers, the visit aimed to address safety concerns at this popular site, as directed by Lieutenant General Saksira Phueakam, Commissioner of the Tourism Police.

During the inspection, Col. Somchai met with local community leader Sombat Thongsawat, representatives of Thai costume rental businesses, and temple committee members to discuss efforts to protect tourists and prevent exploitation. Emphasis was placed on monitoring high-risk areas, promoting fair business practices among vendors, and ensuring the community fosters a welcoming environment. Police interacted with visitors to build trust and reinforced sustainable tourism practices.
