On November 6, the Royal Gazette published an announcement by Thailand's Fine Arts Department declaring the official registration of Wat Sommanat Wihan Ratchaworawihan as a national historic site. Located on Krung Kasem Road in Bangkok’s Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, this designation is authorized under the Antiquities, Artifacts, and National Museums Act of 1961.

The registered historic site covers approximately 25 rai and 2.5 square wah (about 10 acres). Details and boundaries are specified in the accompanying official map.
