On the night of November 5, 2024, at approximately 11:30 PM, police conducted a raid, arresting Chinese and Taiwanese nationals along with 21 Thai individuals involved in illegal poker gambling. The raid took place in the Sahakarn Pramoon area, Wang Thonglang Subdistrict, Wang Thonglang District, Bangkok, where police seized over 4 million baht in betting chips.
The suspects were charged with illegal gambling (poker) for property without authorization and organizing unauthorized gambling activities. All suspects admitted to participating in the gambling activities. The arrested individuals were initially transferred to the Wang Thonglang Police Station for further legal processing.
