The Election Commission (EC) has issued a press release regarding the plan to organize elections for members of the Provincial Administrative Organization Council (PAO) and the Chief Executive of the Provincial Administrative Organization. The announcement states that the current PAO council members and chief executives, elected on December 20, 2020, will complete their terms on December 19, 2024. The EC has approved a draft plan for the PAO council and chief executive elections.
Candidate registration is scheduled for December 23-27, 2024, with the election set for Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Those interested in running for the PAO council or chief executive positions are advised to prepare by reviewing the steps and required documentation, available on the EC website at https://www.ect.go.th.
