Tuesday, November 5, 2024 — The Thai Meteorological Department forecasts the weather for the next 24 hours. A monsoon trough is passing through the southern region, combined with a low-pressure area moving along the monsoon trough toward the Andaman Sea. Meanwhile, a moderate northeast monsoon is covering the upper Gulf of Thailand and the upper southern region. This will result in heavy to very heavy rain in some areas of the south. Residents are advised to be cautious of severe rain and accumulated rainfall, which may lead to flash floods and sudden torrents.
In the upper parts of the country, another moderate to fairly strong high-pressure system or cold air mass from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. This will bring cool weather in the mornings, with a slight temperature drop in the northeastern region, accompanied by scattered thunderstorms in some parts of the eastern and lower central regions. People in these areas are advised to take care of their health due to changing weather conditions, and farmers should prepare to protect crops from potential damage.
Note: Weather forecast for Thailand from 6:00 AM, Tuesday, November 5, to 6:00 AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
