The Tourism Authority of Thailand invites all travelers to the "Colors of Water: Loy Krathong Festival" under the theme "The Wonders of Faith and Color." The event will be held from November 13-16, 2024, at Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem (near Hua Lamphong), Bangkok.
Highlights of the event include:
- Transforming Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem with a dazzling display of lights to create a joyful ambiance.
- Spectacular Nang Nopphamat (Loy Krathong Goddess) procession on the water and a grand traditional Loy Krathong parade on land.
- Demonstrations of krathong-making from five charming destinations: Chiang Mai, Tak, Sukhothai, Samut Songkhram, and Roi Et.
- Nang Nopphamat beauty pageant with prizes over 200,000 baht, along with an eco-friendly krathong design competition with prizes totaling more than 100,000 baht.
- Enjoy rare local foods from across the country.
